Aviation Quality Assurance Specialist

Join our team as a professional to carry out daily quality and safety event reviews and investigations of operational occurrences involving engineering.
As a quality assurance specialist, you will evaluate and process daily engineering events and investigate maintenance errors/escapes resulting from Aircraft Maintenance Organisations carrying out maintenance support on behalf of Virgin Australia.
- Evaluate and process daily engineering events and determine if an event requires further investigation.
- Coordinate with Fleet Engineering to address deficiencies or unserviceabilities reported.
- Investigate maintenance errors/escapes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the independent audit program of external AMOs.
The ideal candidate has experience in aviation and is familiar with Part 42/145 regulations. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
