Industrial Relations and Employment Lawyer Opportunity

As an experienced Industrial Relations and Employment Lawyer, you will take on substantial responsibility, working with a strong small legal team. You will report directly to the Head of Industrial Relations and Employment Law.

The ideal candidate will have 3++ years of PAE gained at a reputable law firm or company in a strong IR/ER practice. You will work on a range of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, and general protection.

Regulatory and government work, employee benefits agreements (EBAs), and providing general advice are also key components of this role. Experience in education and training and managing claims is highly desirable.

To be successful in this position, you should be commercially minded with strong technical skills. This opportunity offers attractive work-life balance conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex employment law cases
  • Providing strategic advice on industrial relations and employment matters
  • Developing and implementing employment policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with senior management and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • 3++ years of experience as an Industrial Relations and Employment Lawyer
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
