This role requires an approachable, knowledgeable leader with proven experience in leading an Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations and workflow of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient service delivery and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Review and manage payments, assist Treasury with cash flow forecasting, and complete month-end processing within agreed time frames.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) efficiently and accurately, send remittances to suppliers, and collaborate with the broader Finance team on period-end Journals, particularly those related to Accruals and Expenses.
- Lead the team in delivering efficient business services and participate in the financial control leadership team to foster effective working relationships across Finance.
- Initiate process improvements to enhance service delivery and attend relevant team and stakeholder meetings to ensure excellent engagement and communication.
This role is ideal for an experienced leader who possesses strong people skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of GST classification and be proficient in MS 365 Suite, with experience using Yardi or Microsoft Dynamics being advantageous.
Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance are essential for this role.
