Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Target Business Services is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to manage our financial transactions, support effective business operations, and provide valuable insights to ensure financial integrity and sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with our management team to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and optimized financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare company and individual income tax returns.
  • Prepare Payroll Tax, PAYG, BAS returns, and FBT returns.
  • Prepare annual budgets in liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Report monthly on budget to actuals.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support management in developing effective pricing strategies for solar products.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the annual audit process.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
