About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team at Team Global Express. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our equipment workshop, ensuring that all parts and inventory are properly stored, secured, and managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including ordering and receiving parts, and ensuring stock levels are within minimum and maximum quantities.
  • Coordinate the safe and efficient storage of parts, tools, and equipment, and ensure that all items are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Process invoices and job cards, and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Assist with the delivery and pickup of parts as required, and ensure that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically in MS Office Suite, and experience with inventory management software.
  • Valid driver's license and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
