Lead Government Relations Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Relations Strategist to lead our efforts in promoting positive change and influencing key stakeholders. Our team is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brief senior leaders on key engagements with external stakeholders
  • Advocate for policy reform and contribute views across relevant reforms
  • Lead high-performing teams in complex environments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Ministers' offices and Departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex, people-centred organisations
  • A broad understanding of the ACCC's roles and functions, as well as related policy and political issues
  • Experience working on complex and sensitive policy issues to tight timeframes
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and influence, negotiate and advocate effectively within networks
