Technical Development Specialist

A technical development position at one of three mills: Augusta, GA; Cypress Bend, AR; or Lewiston, ID.
- This role involves supporting technical and process improvement work across facilities.
The job entails evaluating new technologies to reduce costs and improve productivity, developing systems to monitor production data, providing support to operators and maintenance personnel, conducting data analysis to identify areas for improvement, and implementing process improvements to reduce variability and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and implement new technologies to reduce costs and improve productivity
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor and analyze production data
- Provide technical support to operators and maintenance personnel
- Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce variability and improve performance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- Entry-level position with internship experience in manufacturing or paper industry preferred
- Basic knowledge of PI (Process Information System)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
