Job Title: Software Delivery Director

About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished delivery director to spearhead our software delivery squad in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the delivery squad's purpose and objectives, aligning them with the organization's broader vision, strategy, and customer roadmap.
  • Provide leadership on agreed delivery practices to the delivery squad.
  • Achieve continuous quality delivery, focusing on customer value and optimized workflows.
  • Execute agile activities and facilitate agile ceremonies.
  • Making informed decisions with stakeholders to prioritize and maintain the delivery squad's backlog of work.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies, frameworks, and techniques, along with experience in leading a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in resource and capability management.
