Project Director Role

As a Project Director, you will oversee the implementation of complex software solutions that transform how customers plan, schedule, and operate their mines.



  • Own the programme: Guide full-cycle implementation of software across multiple mine sites
  • Collaborate with teams: Partner with software, sales, and consulting teams to deliver customer projects
  • Support customers: Translate customer needs and business reality into actionable plans—and steer expectations smartly
  • Lead change management: Coach customer teams so that software solutions stick
  • Risk management: Anticipate risks, balance competing priorities, and keep projects on track
  • Best practice sharing: Collaborate with fellow Project Directors to share best practices and elevate project excellence globally

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (or similar)
  • Able to scope, draft proposals, deliver and support the implementation of new technology and software
  • Experienced at assessing and facilitating change in large organisations
  • Experience in mining or heavy industry processes and environment (advantageous)
  • Formal qualifications in Project Management highly regarded but proven results matter most
