Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the Got It Team program. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with local child and family services and make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families.

Job Description

This is a temporary full-time position that involves working with children, parents, carers, and school staff to prevent behavioural challenges and promote social and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating group programs, as well as high-level communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA (psychology/occupational therapy) or eligibility for membership of AASW.
  • Significant post-graduate experience providing assessment and intervention to children and their families presenting with mental health needs using evidence-based approaches.
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development, and the effects of trauma on child mental health.
