Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing proactive technical support to our premium customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and application protocols, with experience working directly with customers in a technology company. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Break-fix issues: Work with customers to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Optimization: Collaborate with customers to optimize their systems for peak performance.
  • Proactive customer engagement: Build highly collaborative relationships with support teams and customers/partners, leveraging enterprise data analytics to track and report on customer engagement.
  • Cross-functional engagement: Establish and develop relationships with internal teams, collaborating with Sales and Engineering to address product issues and identify workarounds and solutions.
  • Escalations: Assume the role of escalation manager when needed, ensuring timely communication to all stakeholders for escalated issues with high-impact or strategic visibility.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-7 years of support experience in a Network Support, Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or Technical customer-facing organization.
  • Expert understanding of network and application protocols (Cisco/Juniper certification strongly preferred).
  • Experience with Cloud/SaaS software products is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of ISP, CDN, and cloud service provider networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use data to articulate messages.
