Activation Lead for a Vibrant Festival
">Role OverviewThis is a 5-month temporary, full-time position through to 2026. You will be responsible for engaging itinerant and local traders for activations produced and permitted by the Arts, Festivals and Events team.
">Key Responsibilities- Engage local traders including strategy creation, engagement permitting and licensing.
- Oversee on-site vending at the festival, evaluating opportunities and procuring an external provider.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- Ability to self-manage workloads, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in event management, including hospitality provision or permitting.
