Festival Trader Engagement Specialist

This is a 5-month temporary full-time position responsible for the engagement of itinerant and local traders for festival activations. Main Goals:
- Engage local traders, including strategy creation, permitting and licensing.
- Oversee on-site vending at the festival, including evaluation of opportunities and procurement of an external provider.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to self-manage workloads, communicate clearly and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and community engagement.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and negotiation skills both written and oral.
- Experience in local government or a similar environment.
- Event management experience including hospitality provision or permitting.
