We are seeking a highly skilled Event Activation Coordinator to join our team and assist in the delivery of the St Kilda Festival. As an experienced event professional, you will engage local traders, manage their participation, and ensure operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to engage local traders through permitting and licensing.
- Oversee on-site vending at the festival, evaluating opportunities and procuring external providers.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and community engagement.
- Self-management, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
- Experience in event management, including hospitality provision or permitting.
