Visual Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Visual Designer to join our organization. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in transforming user experiences on our websites and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience designing and delivering visually engaging websites for large organizations. You will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and system thinking, with the ability to step back and see the larger ecosystem.

You will work closely with UX designers to define atomic visual components required when developing user experience. You will also collaborate with developers to build and maintain a library of reusable visual components that can be applied to user-facing digital assets.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build and develop close relationships with stakeholders. They will also have experience using and contributing to design systems, solid knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, and an ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge.

We require Vocus meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA standards. The Visual Designer will promote a self-service operating model by supporting the documentation of our design system.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
