Visual Designer

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design expertise, with 1+ years of experience in digital design.

Key responsibilities include designing eye-catching visuals for various platforms, applying strategic use of typography, imagery, colour, and layout to maximise the visual impact and appeal of our online content.

Candidates should be highly organised and proactive, working closely with cross-functional teams to produce engaging visual content and ensuring visual consistency across all creative assets.

This role can be casual, part-time, or freelance, with 20 to 25 hours per week to start. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in graphics, digital, or UI design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 1+ years of digital design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design expertise.
  • Relevant degree in graphics, digital, or UI design.
  • Experience using Figma.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and composition.
  • Strong communication skills, articulating ideas and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetic quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
