About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team as an Education & Advocacy Officer within our Parks and Natural Environment Department.

This newly created role will involve collaborating with stakeholders and the community to protect and enhance our urban forest, promote tree canopy and urban greening initiatives, and support biodiversity improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the delivery and implementation of community-based Urban Forest projects
  • Contribute to the development of new policies, strategies, and procedures
  • Offer high-quality advice, education, and advocacy to internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Lead, guide, and support staff, stakeholders, and the community to ensure the successful delivery of Urban Forest actions
  • Write high-quality reports for both internal and external stakeholders
