
Traffic Enforcement System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for installing, wiring, connecting, calibrating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated traffic enforcement systems, field WAN networks, and surveillance equipment.
The Field Service Technician will travel independently to locations where they will work autonomously or in partnership with other technicians, subcontractors, clients, or engineering staff to install and maintain red-light camera and speed enforcement systems in the field.
Key responsibilities include preventative and remedial maintenance of Redflex fixed-site installed systems, electronics and communications troubleshooting of installed equipment, mechanical troubleshooting of equipment enclosures, programming/configuring of ITS, red-light camera, and speed enforcement system components in the field, and more.
This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements- A minimum of 2 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic components, connectivity wiring, computer hardware, and data/video cabling required.
- Trained in Redflex Technologies, Field Service Methodologies, or equivalent training/experience.
- Proficient with use of tools and test equipment.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently (safely and responsibly), as well as in a team and with subcontractors.
- Must be able to obtain certifications within 60 days from date of hire, including CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry (White Card) and others.

Other InformationAs a Field Service Technician, you will be required to travel to various locations throughout Victoria and occasionally interstate. You will also need to have a valid driver's licence and be comfortable working outside with regular exposure to outside elements.
Some lifting is required, but we provide all necessary safety equipment and training to ensure your comfort and well-being on the job.
