About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. In this role, you will provide support to clients with Frontal Lobe Dementia, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Dysphagia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower clients to achieve their goals and support them with individual care needs in areas such as wellbeing, housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, daily activities, and community participation.
  • Develop person-centered positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Manage behaviors and provide support to clients with complex needs.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage 1:1 shifts.
  • 6 months of local work experience in the Disability Sector.
  • MAYBO training highly regarded.
  • Experience and comfort assisting with all Personal Care requirements is essential.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Blue Card.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
