Job Title: Warranty Management Professional

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading warranty management processes, ensuring reliability and availability milestones are met.


This role offers a challenging opportunity to balance technical problem-solving with strategic leadership, driving influence in problem-solving and product development by employing root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.


A key aspect of the position is mentoring and developing a team of two direct reports, supporting them to ensure successful delivery of project and team goals.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the rolling stock industry, specifically in warranty, maintenance, or operational support. They must possess demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in customer-facing roles, and proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred).


About the Role
  • Lead warranty management processes and ensure reliability and availability milestones are met.
  • Support and develop a team of two direct reports, mentoring them to ensure successful delivery of project and team goals.
  • Oversee steady-state commercial contract management, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Represent the company in customer-facing interactions, ensuring strong relationships and proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.

About You
  • Proven experience in the rolling stock industry, specifically in warranty, maintenance, or operational support.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring team members.
  • Expertise in customer-facing roles, including account and supplier management.
  • Experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and execution of commercial contracts.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage contracts, track performance, and identify issues.
