Job Overview:

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Agronomist to support our growers in NSW and Victoria, with occasional travel to SA and Tasmania.

The successful candidate will have a background in hybrid seed production agronomy or a strong background in broadacre cropping. They will enjoy spending time outdoors, be happy to travel regularly, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support contract growers in the region to meet quality, quantity, price, and timeliness targets.
  • Work closely with growers to optimize crop yields and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve seed quality and purity.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Agronomy or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in seed production or broadacre cropping.
  • Strong knowledge of crop management practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
