About the Role

Entee Mining Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Mine Manager/Site Senior Executive to lead our Blackridge gold mine operations in Queensland.

As the Mine Manager/Site Senior Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of our mining activities, ensuring the efficient and safe production of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Lead all mine site activities, ensuring compliance with safety management systems, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  2. Operational Excellence: Ensure the safe extraction of gold, develop and implement mine plans and strategies, and guide daily operations and personnel to maintain high safety standards and manage risks.
  3. Rehabilitation and Compliance: Achieve rehabilitation objectives and ensure compliance with legislation, develop and implement health and safety management processes to reduce work health and safety and occupational risks.
  4. Results Delivery: Deliver results within timeframes and budgets, aligning with company goals, and assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  5. Culture and Performance: Foster a high-performing and inclusive culture, provide leadership, mentoring, and training, and implement cost-saving measures and improvements to ensure operational efficiencies.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate on budget monitoring, production KPIs, and safety, manage performance reviews and recruitment of reports, and oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliability of plant and equipment.
  7. External Relationships: Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and assist with procurement and logistics.
Requirements
  1. Meet the Board of Examiners SSE criteria and Queensland Mines Inspectorate requirements for a Site Senior Executive at a surface mine with over 20 employees; blasting experience preferred.
  2. Extensive operational and management experience in open cut mineral mining, with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
  3. Prior experience managing and overseeing a team of ~30 employees.
  4. Holding a current and valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
  5. Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, verbal, and written.
  6. Successfully implementing and maintaining new operational strategies.
  7. Proficiency in IT systems.
  8. Full working rights in Australia.
  9. Provide a National Police Clearance.
