About the Role

Chisholm Institute of TAFE is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Chief Exam Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for the upcoming GAT and VCE exams. As a Chief Exam Supervisor, you will be responsible for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments, ensuring a clear understanding of provisions for students with approved special examination arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate specific requirements to students prior to, during, and at the conclusion of each GAT and VCE external assessment.
  • Reconcile all external assessment materials within 48 hours of delivery, ensuring they are stored in a dedicated secure locked repository according to VCAA requirements.
  • Ensure a clear and common understanding of requirements for students with approved Special Examination Arrangements.
  • Ensure the secure storage and collection of external assessment materials.
  • Ensure authorized school personnel are made aware of any student who does not obey or observe instructions given by the supervisor in the examination room.
  • Ensure suitable arrangements are available in the event that a student's behavior requires their removal from an examination room.
  • Ensure all response material is collected and packed according to VCAA requirements.
  • The safekeeping and handing over of the completed response material to the VCAA courier.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a VCE Exam Invigilator or similar roles that involve high-level administrative skills, supervisory responsibility, and actioning of set processes.
  • Proven organizational skills and exceptional communication skills to provide necessary instructions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve goals.
