- Serve as chief psychologist or program director of a program of psychological services
- Perform psychotherapy, consultation, and work in prevention, education, training, and/or research
- Work as an expert consultant
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited college
- Successful completion of an internship in clinical psychology or one year of professional work experience in the field of clinical psychology
- Supervisory skills, including planning, assigning, directing, and evaluating the work of others
- Professional post-doctoral work experience as a clinical psychologist
- Experience in a specialized field of clinical psychology
