About the Role:

The Regional and Spatial Planning team is responsible for developing, reviewing, and monitoring regional plans that address land use planning issues of significance. These plans are aligned with the state's interests in planning and development, enhancing Queensland's economic, social, and environmental opportunities.

The team works collaboratively with local government, industry groups, and the community to consider the aspirations of all regional stakeholders. Spatial planning involves creating a blueprint for identified sites, considering factors such as land use options, physical environment constraints, infrastructure requirements, community values, and tenure arrangements.
