Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Planning Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a team in reviewing and implementing regional plans across the state, driving productivity and achieving goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver regional plans to achieve government commitments.
  • Lead a team to manage staff resources, drive productivity, and review performance.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to staff to inform land use planning issues.
  • Coordinate research, analysis, and data interpretation to inform regional plan policies.
  • Collaborate with senior management, project teams, and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage meetings, consultation activities, forums, committees, and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop effective working relationships with key project stakeholders, including federal and state agencies, local governments, infrastructure entities, industry associations, and technical experts.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, submissions, presentations, briefs, and reports on complex and sensitive issues.
