Asset Transfer Support Analyst

Our client, a global tier-one Wealth Management firm, is seeking an Asset Transfer Support Analyst to join their Melbourne Operations Team on an initial 6-month contract.

This role sits within the Australian Operations Team and involves a diverse set of responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording transactions, identifying and mitigating operational risks, and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on asset transfer, mainly listed equity and managed funds
  • Act as the key liaison point between advisors, Overseas Operations, and local counterparties
  • Facilitate the signing of transfer forms as per counterparty requirements
  • Ensure accurate cost base data for transfers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or equivalent education or experience
  • 1-3 years of prior financial services operations experience, ideally in equity market-related or Wealth Management
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Basic MS Office knowledge, specifically Excel
  • Previous experience with asset transfers, such as managed funds, stock, or cash, is highly desirable
