The ideal candidate will offer guidance and evaluation of students to complement and enhance the work of teachers, strengthen student learning and wellbeing outcomes, and help families understand and manage their children's learning and mental health needs.
About This Role
This is a truly collegiate role offering unique challenges and opportunities for professional development and making an impact on the lives of children and young people. The successful candidate will be based at Goulburn South Public School and have opportunities to work across the lifespan with both primary and high school aged students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and evaluation of students to complement and enhance teacher work.
- Help families understand and manage their children's learning and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes of children and young people.
Requirements
- Be a registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the relevant authorities.
- Able and willing to travel between worksites.
