Cost Management Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Cost Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour costs vs estimates.
  • Conduct quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors and personnel to discuss cost-related matters.
  • Monitor cost from vendors or subcontractors, identify variances and manage issues in conjunction with managers.
  • Provide cost reports and examine estimates used by management for planning, organisation and scheduling.
  • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
  • 4+ years post-graduation experience with a PQS (Practicing Quantity Surveyor) qualification.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior quantity surveyors.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
