Job Summary

We are looking for a talented chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, receiving and accounting for supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent levels of performance, supporting new team members and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Ensure effective communication between the kitchen, floor, and events teams, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality or at least 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Salary commensurate with experience, up to $75,000 plus superannuation.
