Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Job2Go Pty Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, following the menu and specials.
  • Ensure food presentation meets our high standards of quality.
  • Check the freshness of food and ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
  • Consult with supervisory staff, manager, and kitchen staff to plan menus and special event needs.
  • Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Arrange storing of food in different types of facilities, such as refrigerators, air-tight containers, hot cases, and zip pouches, with controlled temperature as per the requirement of the dish.
  • Assist in stock control, inventory, and ordering of ingredients.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
