The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our global team. This role suits an individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for contributing to the exciting opportunities arising from a rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all VALD shipments.
- Oversee, coordinate, and ensure accurate completion of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing declarations, bills of lading, and certificates.
- Prepare and print shipping labels and liaise with carriers to schedule shipments.
- Liaise with international customs brokers to facilitate prompt clearance of shipments and resolution of issues.
- Assist with warehouse operations, returns, and general duties as required to support business needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics, operations, and international shipping.
- Knowledge of international shipping processes and incoterms.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously or in a team.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
- Background in international trade or logistics, with relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required, while experience with HubSpot, UPS/DHL shipment platforms, and Oracle NetSuite is highly desirable.
