Job Title: Support Specialist

We provide accommodation support and community participation to people with disabilities and their families.

Our staff are passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their goals, connect with their faith and build friendships through positive engagement in a client-centered approach.

Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day support to people with disabilities in various settings, assisting with personal activities, engaging in social and recreational activities, and transporting clients to community-based events.

Requirements include developing rapport and conveying messages clearly to individuals with intellectual disabilities, understanding complex behaviors of concern, experience in the Mental Health sector and customer service approach.

You must also hold a Certificate III Individual Support (Disability), current driver's license, First Aid + CPR certificate, Disability Employment Screening Clearance or equivalent, and proof of COVID vaccination.
