We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical maintenance and repairs to ensure the optimal performance of our processing department.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs. This will include maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures, completing administrative tasks associated with maintenance duties, and ensuring a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
  • Conduct daily checks on machinery and report any issues or concerns
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance within a Processing Plant operation
  • Sound understanding of machinery and care of fixed plant equipment
  • Valid C Class vehicle license, as well as CN crane, dogging, Rigger basic EWP, and Forklift tickets
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
