The role of Examiner Standards Manager - Speaking Network is a crucial position that oversees the quality assurance of examiner marking and delivery standards for Speaking tests.

Key responsibilities include managing the recruitment, standards, and training of the IDP Examiner Trainer Network to ensure suitably qualified examiners are in place to meet regional and global test centre demand and high standards of Speaking test delivery and marking.

Additionally, the role provides support to the IDP network of Administrators and welcomes applications from candidates based anywhere in Australia or within a similar time zone.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support the IDP test centre network by ensuring adequate numbers of suitably qualified examiners and examiner trainers are recruited, trained, and monitored.
  • Manage examiner trainer performance via partner-agreed monitoring processes.
  • Implement and develop global PSN policy recommendations for the delivery of Speaking tests and ways of working with the Examiner Trainers.
  • Work with the PSN Manager and relevant partner work groups to develop and review PSN policies, objectives, and strategies for the management of Speaking Examiner standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certified IELTS Speaking at Examiner Trainer level.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
  • Organisational skills and ability to maintain focus under pressure.
  • Ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
