
Permits Planning Specialist

The Permits Planning Specialist plays a critical role in the planning team, coordinating with engineers and project managers to prepare and submit permits to councils, road authorities, and DOT.
- Coordinating project desktop RSA's
- Maintaining permit workflows in accordance with company procedures
- Receiving and processing permit applications
- Liaising with clients on plan coordination
- Receiving all supporting permit documentation from permit requestors applications including required drawings, information and Asset owners work Authorisations/Permits
- Maintaining the Permit register and Records management
- Preparing information required for monthly reports on building and construction activities
- Creating, coordinating and amending Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) or Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)
- Coordinating traffic plan variations, resubmissions and amendments
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and loves keeping things on track. You should be a great communicator, enjoy working with a team, and be able to jump in and solve problems as they come.
Requirements:- Holding a Construction Induction Card (CPCCWHS1001A)
- Having Traffic Control Tickets - Use Stop Slow Bat (RIIWHS205D)
- Having Traffic Control Tickets - Implement Traffic Management Plan (RIIWHS302D)
- Having Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (RIICWD503A) or equivalent
- Solid understanding of general road construction, timeframes and procedures DOT, Council and Other Stakeholder permits & procedures
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic, being reliable, and possessing team player values
- Demonstrating safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
- Being outcomes focused and having the ability to plan and keep organised
