Job description:
The Opportunity:
We're on the hunt for a Permits & Planning Administrator to join our friendly and fast-paced planning team
Any given day may see you…
Coordinating with engineers, and project managers to coordinate the preparation and submission of permits including submissions to Councils, Road Authorities & DOT.
Coordinating project desktop RSA's Completing and maintaining permit workflows in accordance with company procedures.
Receiving and processing permit applications Liaising with clients on plan Receiving all supporting permit documentation from permit requestors applications including required drawings, information and Asset owners work Authorisations/Permits Maintaining the Permit register and Records management Preparing information required for monthly reports on building and construction activities.
Creating, coordinating and amending a TMP (Traffic Management Plan) or a TGS (Traffic Guidance Scheme) including Risk Assessment Coordinating traffic plan variations, resubmissions and amendments Ensuring compliance on all approvals are maintained and followed such as relevant authority notifications.
Capturing costs and invoice as per schedule or rates

They must:
Hold a Construction Induction Card (CPCCWHS1001 A) - Highly desired Have Traffic Control Tickets - Use Stop Slow Bat (RIIWHS205 D) - Highly desired Have Traffic Control Tickets - Implement Traffic Management Plan (RIIWHS302 D) - Highly desired Have Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (RIICWD503 A) or equivalent - Highly desired Solid understanding of general road construction, timeframes and procedures DOT, Council and Other Stakeholder permits & procedures.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, be reliable, and possess team player values Demonstrate safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members Be outcomes focused and have the ability plan and keep organised
