Senior Financial Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation - Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for private clients.
  • Tax Planning Services - Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize their tax liabilities.
  • Business Advisory - Advise clients on business decisions and financial management strategies.
  • Clients Relationship Management - Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals.
  • Team Leadership - Supervise and mentor junior members of the accounting team.
  • Compliance Assurance - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in tax compliance/business services currently working within an accounting public practice firm in Australia.
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Proven expertise in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic financial advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
