The Planning Services Officer will provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on development applications, assess low-risk development applications, and facilitate development assessment. This role will work in a team environment with other Planners, Senior Planners, Planning Support Officers, and Coordinator Planning Assessment.
About YouWe are seeking a dynamic employee who can work across the division, develop skills in multidiscipline teams, and provide expertise where resources are required. The successful applicant will have good communication skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to balance land use outcomes for the City.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and apply relevant legislation, council policies, and procedures in assessing low-risk development applications.
- Provide planning and development advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to planning enquiries and lead customer-focused behavior by delivering service excellence.
