Job Opportunity: Operational Training Officer

This is a full-time ongoing role based in Goulburn, NSW. The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating/coordinating training courses and/or training delivery experience.

The role requires regular travel within NSW, including on weekdays and weekends. The successful applicant will also need to hold a current Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor/higher qualification).

About the Job
  • To enhance member capability and capacity through the delivery of targeted training and development programs.
  • To coordinate and support the delivery of quality training and assessment, working closely with volunteer Trainers and Assessors.
  • To develop and deliver training that meets the needs of NSW SES members and partner agency personnel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in delivering training and conducting assessments within an adult learning environment.
  • Current qualifications in one or more NSW SES Capability areas, or industry/other agency equivalence.
  • Able to travel across the State as required, and possession of a current full Class C Driver's License (or higher).
  • Flexible to work weekdays, weekends (up to two weekends a month), and evenings at a variety of locations across NSW.
Requirements
  • A 35-hour work week, with the potential for flexible work arrangements such as a nine-day fortnight or a four-day work week depending on the requirements of the role and operational needs.
  • Attractive salary range of $99,938 to $110,271 plus 12% superannuation and leave loading + 15% field allowance.
