Job Summary:

SH Recruitment is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Centre Director to lead a high-performing childcare service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leadership practices and pedagogy, as well as a Bachelor or diploma in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of high-level trained staff to provide exceptional childcare and education services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience as a Centre Director in a childcare or education setting
  • Strong leadership and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and senior management
  • Experience with early childhood development and education
  • Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification
  • WWCC and/or Victorian Institute of Teaching card
  • Right to work in Australia
