Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Procurement Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement category plans across Australia and New Zealand. Your focus will be on Transport & Warehousing, where you will identify, evaluate, negotiate, appoint, and manage suppliers to create competitive advantage and leverage PepsiCo's scale and global footprint.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with iconic brands like Doritos, Gatorade, Pepsi Max, Smith's Chips, Red Rock Deli, Twisties, Quaker Oats, and Bluebird NZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic procurement category plans across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, appoint, and manage suppliers to create competitive advantage and leverage PepsiCo's scale and global footprint.
  • Manage cost reduction activities and best practice tools and methods within a complex and varied supplier environment.
  • Effective dispute resolution and stakeholder management skills across multiple internal and external platforms.
  • Active participation with cross-functional teams in Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, R&D, and Supply Chain.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferred CIPSA or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of FMCG with 7 yrs min in procurement roles - depth in category management.
  • Sound knowledge of supply market fundamentals, strategic sourcing processes, Indirect category related procurement preferred.
  • Excellent balance of analytical & negotiation skills.
  • Contract writing / risk analysis / liabilities and indemnities / SLA's / and general commercial terms.
  • Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls.
