Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Pastry Craftsman to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake high-quality products according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management
  • Adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing tasks and managing workload
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues

Requirements:

  • Australian Trade/Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking (Breadmaking) or equivalent qualification
  • Formal apprenticeship within Australia, or equivalent experience
  • Genuine passion for baking, customer-first mentality, love of teamwork and eagerness to grow and support others
  • Flexible and adaptable, reliable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
