About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Craftsman to join our team in a fast-paced bakery environment. As a Pastry Craftsman, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and products to enhance the bakery's offerings.

Requirements

  • Australian (AQF issued) Trade/ Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking (Breadmaking) or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship within Australia.
  • Genuine passion for baking and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change, with a willingness to learn and grow.
