Chief Property Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strategic thinking and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have experience in commercial/residential real estate with a strong grasp of lease interpretation and property legislation. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and systems related to property management.
- Negotiate and prepare new lease agreements, renewals, and special conditions with lessors, tenants, and solicitors.
- Provide strategic advice on acquisition, divestment, and lease negotiations while ensuring compliance with WHS and corporate policy.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Real Estate, Business, Finance) and valid driver's licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems with experience in SAP considered a plus.
Purpose: To provide high-level policy, legislative, and management advice on protected area acquisition, asset acquisitions and disposals, and manage a diverse property portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update property records, systems, and ensure accuracy of lease and rental data.
- Manage rental payments, arrears, overpayments, rent increases, and property-related invoice processing via SAP.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party managers to support leases, renewals, maintenance, and repairs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual FBT reporting processes related to property, staff housing, and car parking.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
