Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Therapist to deliver speech pathology services to participants with diverse needs.

About the Role:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Deliver speech therapy services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community.
  • Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants get more out of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and exercise physiologists.
  • Mentor graduates and early career clinicians (for senior clinicians).
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Current certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience as a Speech Therapist beyond graduation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
