Speech Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality clinical services to adults with swallowing and communication disorders. This role involves managing dysphagia and communication impairments, working with clients with complex needs, and supporting them in the use of alternative and augmentative communication devices.

  • This position requires a strong assessment and management skillset for complex swallowing and communication issues, as well as experience working with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.
About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
  • A current Blue Card, Disability Worker Screening Card, and National Police Check.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in speech pathology, including work with NDIS participants with complex developmental and/or acquired communication disorders.

To excel in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
