We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Change Management Engineer to join our team at Amazon Robotics. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in driving the performance, reliability, and safety of our robotic and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee multiple robotics implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects to ensure program goals are met and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) data and share success stories during lessons learned workshops and reviews with cross-functional partners in Engineering and Operations.
- Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify the need for new tools to support existing solutions.
- Leverage existing guides, task lists, and configuration processes, systems, and tools to deploy software at Amazon Robotics sites around the world.
- Monitor queues and respond to issues within defined SLAs.
- Develop processes to implement product upgrades on fielded Amazon Robotics products.
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen, and Lean manufacturing methodology).
- Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS.
- Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with a variety of groups, including Software, Hardware, and Systems Engineering, Operations, and Senior Management.
- Proven ability to project manage complex technical projects.
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
- Certified in AWS services (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect).
- Certified in Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen, and Lean manufacturing methodology).
- Certified in Linux Red Hat.
- Demonstrated examples of a drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems.
- Strong analytical problem-solving with a metrics-driven focus on frugality without sacrificing safety or customer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to two or more of the following programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Shell Scripting, Java Script).
