Community Engagement Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Advisor to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who shares our passion for creating positive change in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver member and community engagement initiatives and events throughout Western Australia
  • Provide support to youth membership, fostering engagement within the younger generation
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to increase awareness and enhance the effectiveness of engagement efforts
  • Find opportunities to engage members and communities promoting positive behaviours, aiming for a safer, more sustainable, and better-connected Western Australia
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create processes for managing risks and contracts, health and safety protocols, and plans for promotions, campaigns, and activities
  • Update and improve online content on the website and intranet to communicate effectively with members and the community
  • Evaluate and report on community engagement initiative performance, identifying areas for improvement

About You:

  • Demonstrated track record in community engagement, youth engagement, or community development roles, coupled with leadership skills in coordinating diverse projects and events
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, maintain positive relationships, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Expertise in creating and optimising processes, along with experience in communications or marketing
