The Finance and Governance division is an enabling function of AEMO and provides strategic, advisory and transactional finance and governance services. Reporting to the Lead, F&G Change, Communications & Engagement, you will support F&G strategic initiatives through the implementation of the Finance & Governance change, communications and engagement (CCE) strategy. The role ensures initiatives, activities and projects are deployed in a way that maximises employee adoption, provides timely and transparent communication, supports customer and stakeholder experience, minimises risks/impacts and optimises value realisation.
Role Responsibilities- Support the delivery of the approved CCE strategy for F&G, including continuous improvement and complex BAU change management to align with best practice and enhance F&G's internal reputation.
- Provide CCE support to Finance & Governance teams for transformation and project-based delivery uplift. Develop Change, Communications and Engagement Plan and Reporting.
- Identify and address training needs while proactively managing change issues and risks.
- Develop data-led and story-led copy that engages across channels, aligned to F&G goals, to enhance F&G's reputation across the AEMO Group.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Change Practice to ensure consistency of change activities and meet artefact standards (e.g., Change Impact Assessments, Change Strategy & Plan, Communications and Engagement Plan, Learning and Training Needs Analysis and Plans, People Readiness, Change Handover).
- Proactively identify resistance and other change risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare inputs for status reporting and Enterprise Change Governance and Quality Assurance activities.
- Deliver change management activities to build organisational capability and maturity.
- Experience in a similar role with a track record of implementing successful BAU Change and Communications plans.
- Familiarity with project and/or change methodologies, assessment techniques and governance principles.
- Some generalist experience across design and delivery of Communication, Engagement and Learning / Training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly to stakeholders and executives.
- Experience designing and delivering communications and training materials across multiple channels in time-sensitive environments.
- A proactive self-starter with an eye for engaging storytelling opportunities.
